Passthrough Mode

Passthrough Mode is a temporary, protective state that Speed Kit enters when its Deployment Detection mechanism identifies a major website update. In this mode, requests from the user's browser are sent directly to the Origin Server, bypassing Speed Kit's caches. This provides a safe time window for the site's backend infrastructure to complete the deployment and stabilize before Speed Kit begins the process of revalidating its caches with the new content.
