P

Preload

Preload is a resource hint () used in the HTML to instruct the browser to download a critical resource for the current page with high priority, before it would be discovered naturally. It is most effective for resources that are discovered late but are essential for the initial render, such as an LCP image loaded via a CSS background, a critical font file, or a key script.
