If you think Speed Kit is causing a problem on your website, follow these simple steps. This guide helps you to quickly check if Speed Kit is the cause of the problem, and how to contact us for help.
Step 1: Check if Speed Kit Is the Problem
First, check if Speed Kit is causing the problem by turning it off just for your browser session. This test is safe and will not affect your website's visitors. A simple way to do this in any browser is to use the developer console.
- Open the developer console in your browser.
- Enter the following command to deactivate Speed Kit:
navigator.serviceWorker.controller.postMessage({type: "disconnect"});
To turn Speed Kit back on, use the same command but replace disconnect with connect.

Step 2: Turn Off Speed Kit for Everyone
If the test shows Speed Kit is the problem, turn it off for everyone. After you click the button, the deactivation only takes a few seconds to take effect. This turns off the Speed Kit service worker for all users, meaning your website will be delivered directly from your origin server—just like it was before you installed Speed Kit.
- Go to the Speed Kit Dashboard (https://dashboard.speed-kit.com).
- Find Settings in the menu.
- Click the Deactivate Speed Kit button.

If the problem is still there, Speed Kit was not the cause. In this case, or if you turned Speed Kit off by mistake, you can turn it back on by clicking the Activate Speed Kit button in the same place.

Step 3: Report the Issue to Our Team
Next, please report the issue to our support team. You can send an email to help@speedkit.com or use the support form in the dashboard. This creates a support ticket. We will look into the problem for you and contact you as soon as possible.
