Fail-safe Mechanism

A fail-safe mechanism is a core architectural principle of Speed Kit that guarantees the service will never slow down a website. When a user requests a page, Speed Kit creates a "race" between its fast cache and the site's Origin Server. In the rare event that the origin server's response is faster, Speed Kit's fail-safe is triggered: it simply steps aside and serves the origin response directly to the user.
