Guards

Guards are configurable "finish line markers" that Speed Kit uses for pages that rely on Client-Side Rendering (CSR). On these pages, it can be difficult to determine when the main content has actually finished loading and is visible to the user. Guards are specific page elements that you define (e.g., the main product image or a specific container \). Speed Kit monitors the page and considers it "loaded" only when these guard elements have appeared, which allows for an accurate LCP measurement.
