Metadata Management (Image)

This is part of Speed Kit's Image Optimization process. It involves automatically stripping non-essential, invisible data (metadata) from image files. This often includes EXIF data but can also cover other information like color profiles or comments embedded in the file. Removing this metadata reduces the overall file size, making the images faster to download.
