p75 (75th Percentile)

The p75, or 75th percentile, is a statistical measure representing the point at which 75% of a group of values fall at or below. When analyzing web performance, if the p75 LCP is 2.5 seconds, it means that 75% of your users experienced an LCP of 2.5 seconds or faster. Google uses the p75 value from the CrUX dataset as the official metric for assessing Core Web Vitals. This ensures that a large majority of users have a good experience, without the overall score being overly skewed by a small number of users with extremely slow connections or devices.
