Pre-rendering

Pre-rendering is the final and most powerful step of Predictive Preloads. After a page's HTML has been pre-cached, the browser can use modern technologies like the Speculation Rules API to fully render the entire page in a hidden background tab. This includes downloading CSS, images, and parsing JavaScript. When the user clicks the predicted link, the browser simply has to swap the fully-formed, hidden page into view, resulting in a truly instantaneous transition.
