RTT (Round Trip Time)

RTT stands for Round Trip Time and is a fundamental networking metric. It measures the total time it takes for a data packet to travel from a source (like a user's browser) to a destination (a server) and for a response to travel back. RTT is a key component of network latency and is heavily influenced by the physical distance between the client and server. Using a CDN is one of the most effective ways to reduce RTT by serving content from a server closer to the user.
